Experience business decisions in four steps.
Each month in Sail for the Sale, you read the numbers, choose a hypothesis, allocate limited cash, and use the result to decide what to test next.
1. Observe the numbers
Look beyond revenue to awareness, visits, purchases, churn, satisfaction, and remaining cash. Read the whole funnel before deciding what is wrong.
2. Choose one hypothesis
Select the cause you want to test: low awareness, unclear value, weak retention, or another explanation. Research can reveal additional options.
3. Allocate your budget
Invest in advertising, product improvement, customer support, or research. Keeping enough cash for future months can be as important as spending now.
4. Learn from the monthly result
Check whether the result supports your hypothesis. If it does not, reconsider the assumption—not only the amount you invested.
